Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Tell My Ads, operated by GetPhound LLC ("we," "us"), collects, how we use it, and your choices. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we never sell your data.
1. Information we collect
From your Google account, when you sign in:
- your name and email address;
- an access key (OAuth token) that lets the Service reach your Google Ads account on your behalf. We store it encrypted.
From Google Ads, when you ask for it:
- campaign, ad, keyword, budget, performance, and search term data for the accounts you can access. We retrieve this on demand to answer your requests and don't keep a copy, apart from short-lived technical caches.
When you approve a change:
- a record of the approval: the time, the account affected, the change summary you were shown, and your confirmation.
When you subscribe:
- your subscription status and billing history. Payment card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
When you join the waitlist or use the Service:
- the email address and answers you submit on our waitlist form, and the advertising source that brought you to our site;
- technical logs, such as which features were used, timestamps, and errors, to keep the Service working and secure;
- anything you send us when you contact support.
2. How we use information
We use your information only to:
- provide the Service, including retrieving your Google Ads data and making changes you approve;
- keep records of approved changes;
- manage your subscription and billing;
- secure the Service, prevent abuse, and fix problems;
- respond to you and send service-related messages, such as waitlist invites, billing notices, or changes to these policies.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or use your Google data to train AI models.
3. Google user data
Tell My Ads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access your Google Ads data only to provide the features you request, and we don't transfer it to others except as described in section 4.
4. How information is shared
- Your AI assistant. When you ask a question or request a change, the relevant Google Ads data is sent to the AI assistant you connected (such as Claude by Anthropic) so it can respond to you. That data is then handled under your own account with that provider and its privacy policy, which we don't control.
- Service providers. We use Google Cloud to host the Service and Stripe to process payments. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
- Google. Changes you approve are sent to Google Ads to carry them out.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If the Service is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We don't share your information with anyone else.
5. How long we keep it
| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Google access key | Until you disconnect or close your account; then deleted |
| Name and email | While your account is open, then deleted within 30 days |
| Google Ads data | Not stored, apart from short-lived technical caches |
| Approval records | 3 years, to resolve questions or disputes about changes |
| Billing records | As long as required for tax and accounting purposes |
| Technical logs | 90 days |
6. Security
We encrypt data in transit and encrypt stored Google access keys. Access to our systems is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
- Disconnect anytime: disconnect in the Service or remove Tell My Ads' access in your Google account's security settings. This stops all access to your Google Ads data immediately.
- Access or delete your data: email support@tellmyads.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
- Marketing emails: if we send any, you can unsubscribe at any time. Service messages (such as billing notices) can't be turned off while you have an account.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know, correct, or delete your information. Contact us to exercise them. We won't discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Children
The Service is for adults using it for business. It isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
9. Where data is processed
The Service is offered to users in the United States, and data is processed in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect.
